I am in Sandton corner Rivonia & Katherine. I am getting no 3g/edge/gprs data signal at all whatsoever in this area. Can anyone confirm this??

Vodacom Data Network DOWN!

At intervals during the day, here in Nelspruit, all i got using Ginggs' app was GSM signal.
No GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, nada.
Once it did get signal, 50% chance of error 619, 50% chance of successful connect but no data throughput and/or DNS errors.
Its now connected HSDPA, but erratic results at best.
Regular disconnects, drops to zero throughput every 5 minutes, slow as hell, etc.
But I'm gonna guess all we get it "PM me your details".

Same results here... But i am using an iPhone... everyone in the office getting the same problem. I think its official. Vodacom's data network is experiencing major technical difficulties. They can't blame it on the rain coz the Sun is Shining 
Lets hope they sort it our rather sooner then later!

The 155 call centre is playing "high call volumes message"
which usualy means something is broken somewhere..

My work uses its own APN with Vodacom and last Friday it was so frigging irritating as the stupid APN access was down and we could not use our 3G cards to access our work emails.
Congrats to my work for restricting our 3G Cards as you lost out on a day's work as most of us productive employees are client facing and based at clients

i usually struggle late at night although it sometimes happens at the strangest times(ie. not peak times)
so i don't know what is going on with vodacom data network
so i don't know what is going on with vodacom data network
Oh, my service ticket from last week STILL hasnt gotten me a callback, nothing.

I tried to connect earlier tonight, it connects, but no data tranfer is happening, can't surf at all.

When you dial 082155 a very nice american lady tells you that Vodacom are currently experienceing technical issues with prepaid and top up data customers. They might get a insufficient funds error if trying to use GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA. The techies are working on it.
This shows how many people actually try customer care before whining and ganning aan like grannies with nat panties huh?
Gosh if this was my customers I'd tell them off....

I made the same mistake a number of times. The fact that a woman has a nice voice doesn't necessarily means she is nice, whether it is nice-looking or just nice...

Dont very much care for the female voice anyway...I bat for the other team...just got a fright...have never heard Vodacom use a American accent before on one of their recorded messages.
