Vodacom Deals with Laptop??

Hi all!

Does anyone know if there are any Vodacom festive deals that include getting a laptop with the contract? I have seen them before but cant seem to dfind any right now , when i need it...

I am talking contracts up to Business Call type budget. Any more and i could go out and by the lappy myself :p

Any feedback would be appreciated...:)
 
My bro took out a 1GB data contract for 36 months and got a Dell D620 lappy... if that helps.
 
Problem is, these all come with the data card, which is expensive and i dont need..

I was hoping for something where u just get a lappy free on some contract or other, like business call or whatever. They used to have these offers at Incredible connection all the time, but just now i cannot find any :(
 
Saw an ad in a newspaper at Incredible Connection where you pay 1499 and get a laptop on a Business Call Contract. Did anyone else see this? Or know if its still running?

I saw one in the pre-Christmas Incredible Corruption flyer where you got a very decent lappy for free with a Business Call contract at R200/month for just 24 months. That is not a bad deal, and that is what i am looking for, or something like it.

I went hunting for a laptop deal today. Vodacom deal on 500GB is SWEET! Laptop works out to R9 200 (interest included) paid off over 3 years. Incredible Connection similiar spec = R12 999.00! Same for other suppliers. Of course you also have to pay for the data, but if you need that service anyway, I think the laptop price is just fine!

I agree. Lappie is great and the price is great. Thing is i really DONT need the data and that is what puts the cost way out of my league...
 
I was looking for exactly the same deal... Vodacom upgrade for Business Call contract. Incredible Connection are the only ones that had a decent deal, R1499 I think for a Toshiba plus a Nokia 1600.

The problem was that they only do it for new contracts. But I managed to arrange it, they just charged a bit more for the laptop. See http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=61250 if you want to know why they charged more.

There's one catch though - the laptop doesn't have wifi, so unless you're also willing to buy a wifi adapter, you're not going to be able to connect wirelessly. Also, not sure if the offer is still on. If you PM me, I'll send you the details of who I spoke to.

One last thing...Can you post/pm me the specs of the lappy so that i can tell the people when i call them. Cos they often don't know the details of their own specials!

For anyone who cares, this special is still running and i checked out the lappy and it's pretty sweet.
