Vodacom Divert calls?

My Dad asked me to help him out because he couldn't get his calls diverted on his phone. Such as, if he missed a call it would not go through to voicemail.

Now as soon as I try to activate the divert to mailbox. It refuses and tells me that it cant do it. Yet if I type in another number (i.e: his land line number) then unanswered calls are diverted to his landline. I tried diverting to 082121 but it then just says that the number doesn't exist?

I dont know what to do, so thought I'd ask here and see if anyone can help before I tell him to phone the customer care line and wait all day?

You're ALMOST there. The correct form of the number to divert to is 082 131 <last 7 digits of the number>

So if you number is 082 123 4567
Then you divert to 082 131 123 4567

Thanks Will try that now. I thought vodacom was just diverted to the mail box

Hi I wanna devert my Telkom number to my Vodacom number
