Vodacom Downtime?

Anyone also having some downtime today, delivery reports take forever, phone calls get drop ect.

On some phone I've seen "Limited Service" as well. Two of my friends also experience the problem.

I'm on contract.

I doubt you get better reception if you are contract, than being prepaid. But most networks are overcrowded these days. It sometimes takes up to 20 minutes for me just to get my OTP from Standard Bank, then I just give up, because it's only valid for 15 minutes.

MTN sometimes have problems and only contract customers are affected.

Happened in 2006 with VC as well, not sure if there has been an incident since then when it was only contract subscribers.

I can think it would effect billing or even the fact that you can't make or receive calls. But I doubt it would effect reception (delay in services etc.). (contract vs. prepaid).
