Vodacom & DynDNS.org problem

I work for a company that imports and distributes security and surveillance products of which some allow for remote connectivity via mobile phones. However when I try and connect via the Vodacom network (even with Unrestricted APN) it gives me the follwoing error:
"The website you requeste, site.dyndns.org is refusing the gateway's connection at the moment."
I know this address and site works 100% as this is our building's remote log-in address and HAS to work.
I've mentioned Vodacom as my main concern as I'm a Vodacom user however I've got the same problem using MTN.
Does anybody know what the problem could be?

DynDNS should work fine on Vodacom's unrestricted APN, but it will not work on MTN. Have you tried another DynDNS service provider as a test?

I tried the same SIM through a Huawei E220 Modem and works fine... just through a mobile phone it refuses. I've tried various phones and various browsers.
I'll try to use a No-IP option just for testing.

Are you running the browser on the phone, or on a PC with the phone as a modem?

When connecting with E220 modem, I'm using the PC and IE for browser.
When using the phone, I use the actual phone (no PC) and various browsers on the phone. All giving me the same error.

Did you connect to the unrestricted apn on your phone , set it up as an apn ?

Okay... so I changed from my "Vodacom" internet connection to the "VLive" connection. Still doesn't work with my standard browser of my phone but works with Opera Mini. that's a good sign. And this without a SIM that's activated on the "Unrestricted APN".

I think that it is Vodacom's "Content Adaption" that's causing the problem.
Try the 'unrestricted' APN.

This thread explains what Content Adaption is and how you can bypass it.
