After posting so many posts about puting up some edge around my area in durban today it has been done!

I now have edge at work, with a -65dB signal, compare to GPRS with a -75dB signal.

It keeps dropping to zero throughput, and the speedtest isn't great either. 0.17 Mbps down and 0.09Mbps up (on either Vodacom's speed test or speedtest.net).

The GPRS was more stable, even though it had a weaker signal and I preferred using it, even though it was slower. I could click something, Alt-Tab to another window, do some work and come back later, but now about 1 out of 5 times, I come back later to a network error page, and have to reload.

Can I get some EDGE in my area to ??? From my house I can see two cellphone towers and i get absolutely no edge in my house (double story house) but when I place my wife's 5800 express in the exact same position as my BB curve she gets HSDPA and 3G. Surely there should be Edge coverage then ??? I checked on the voda coverage map but there is none :( I live in Albermalle and my office is in alrode

Actually I am on MTN, but was wondering if I could get MTN to setup a proper signal in my area or if they only do it when they feel like doing it
