Vodacom faulty device

Hi I would like to know if there's any person with good advice as to what should happen when I return my defective device tomorrow I bought a Samsung galaxy A12 at Vodacom branch the 7th Jan 2022 but the phone heats up when I'm just using WhatsApp on it I don't believe games on it aswell never even used the camera too but the device gets low warm which is unusual my brother bought the same phone late 2021 but he didn't have that problem the phone is a out of box failure could I ask a new the same phone just another new one? Or what are my options....I really don't want to keep this one I have right now or have it sent in repairs as I know long term this will be a problem thanks in advance

On my end I did use spaces please I really don't have time for this as I'm already having to deal with another problem tomorrow and sorry if my phone did that

Whatever floats your boat........................................................ I'm using a cheap Dixon mouse and keyboard and it works fine on my end...
