I got a contract for a data bundle last year in December for that Galaxy Tab 2gig for R329. I got it on the 7/12/2011 and gave it back the 8/12/2011 due to a faulty unit. On the 19/12/2011 I cancelled the contract, and Vodacom systems show this as well, and all the documentation shows this - (I have hard copies of these documents). I even saw the guy from Vodacom cut the sim that I canceled up in front of me.
This morning I got a sms that I need to pay Vodacom R 3500 for calls made on that same number from the 21/12/2011 - 06/01/2012. When I phoned Vodacom they said the sim is a prepaid sim and I need to pay.
Now how can I get a negative on a prepaid in the first place and I canceled it on the 19th and the calls started on that sim on the 21 of that month.
I have phoned everyone at Vodacom and everyone says they do not understand and the transfers me to some other guy that says the same.
I have gone to the police station and made a fraud claim again Vodacom for now. Got a case number.
Where can I follow this up to sort it out? I will not pay for someone else phone bill.
