Vodacom GPRS on the Z400

Hi guys, I'm trying to get GPRS DUN working on my girlfriends phone and notebook. I can connect with my phone no problems but when I try dial with her it gives me some error when "registering computer on the network". She's with vodacom and has a samsung z400. I'm with mtn and have a 6230i (i think??) the number im using to dial is *99***1#. I can connect with the same number on mtn and also with the *99# number but no joy with her phone. Help???

The error i get is a 718 error. "the remote computer failed to respond in a decent amount of time".

Check if her SIM is enabled for data.

- If not, call 155 and have the SIM data enabled.
- If so, check if you can connect directly with the phone to the internet. For this you need the APN settings on the phone. If you don't have these, get it from vodacom4me or call 155.

Test in your phone and your SIM in her phone.
