Vodacom GPRS usage stats

I've noticed some odd things on my gprs usage stats on the vodacom4me site, and I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

I run netmeter on my laptop, and it gave me a daily total of just over 6Mb. But the total cost for these sessions on the vodacom4me site is just over R20. I'm on the family topup package, so the only billing info I get is a record of the cost of the last 10 transactions, so I can't see how much bandwidth they think I used. I pay R2 per mb (again, the top-up package being the worst of both worlds), so the cost should only have been about R12. What's even more odd is that there are 3 sessions: two of which cost *exactly* R7.19 each! This seems somewhat unlikely.

And the same thing happened yesterday - netmeter says 6.21Mb, vodacom4me says R16.40, with two charges of R4.15 for two different sessions. I contacted vodacom, and they said I have to go through nashua mobile - I'm waiting for them to get back to me (they *never* reply to their e-mail), but I thought I'd see if anyone else has noticed the same thing.

And how often has this happened that I didn't notice?!
 
All billing enquiries have to go through your service provider thats one of the advantages of being aVSP customer where you can just call 111 where they can help you whether it is a network or billing query.

To answer you questions the my usage has never differed from what Vodacom has recorded. Remember you have to add uploaded and downloaded data. If you activate logging on your modem in Windows, the summary at the end of a session of uploaded and downloaded data adds up to exactly (to a few bytes) what Vodacom bills me on my detailed billing.

The data transfered on prepaid/topup per session can be retrieved but is not available on the Vodacom4me site so request it from Nashua Mobile.
 
I think that what's happening is that the itemized billing details are just plain wrong. I've checked my balance before and after a session, and the balance I get via *100# matches the balance on the vodacom4me site, but it doesn't match the total charges listed on the itemised billing tab. So it's pretty useless, but it's okay because I am being charged the correct amount.

It seems to get those duplicate amounts if my session is unexpectedly disconnected - fairly often I'll be browsing, and suddenly I'll start getting DNS errors, as if my laptop can't see the dns server. I can't even disconnect - the only thing I can do is switch off my phone (which it takes a really long time to do, I presume because it's trying to release the gprs connection). This seems to really confuse the usage stats on vodacom4me, although again the amount I'm actually charged seems correct.
