vodacom...how long do repairs take

I gave my phone to vodacare, cause the screen and flash were acting up.

Its been 3 weeks and they cant tell me when I'm getting my phone back.

everytime i call or go in, they say well its been sent to the engineers.


any ideas on what I should do? Shouldnt they be giving me a rental phone to use in the interim?
 
Which vodacare? You should get a rental phone if your phone is within warranty.
 
Three weeks? Wow... the longest I've waited was two days....
Ask them what the progress is on your phone and you would like to speak to the supervisor if it is not finished/close to finished. Three weeks is way too long.
 
So I went to vodacare and demanded to speak to the manager and he has decided that I know owe the manufacture R 1400 cause they wana replace the circuit board cause the phone is not charging. I gave them a phone that was charging and had no problems with the circuit boards, i was receiving and making calls, sending and getting messages, taking photos etc. it was just the flash that didnt work now and then and the touch screen that was a bit tempermental.

He also says it has now been pulled out of warranty.

Then he gives me a number to call, which isnt in english and tells me they should help me.

Anyone have any advice, I cant find out whats going on if i cant understand which option to press.
