Vodacom HSDPA Problem!!!

My Vodacom HSDPA usually loads the MyBB homepage in 2 seconds, but today it slowly started to decrease in speed. I took me 15 minutes to get to this page, from opening firefox to posting this thread. It only started today, and I have tried plugging in my E220 modem and reconnecting and everything. It is really slow suddenly today. My VMC Lite windows shows that it is connected to Vodacom 3G+, and everything looks like usual except for the speed.

Had the same in my area for the last 10 days, was so bad that speedtest couldn't even do a ping test.... but came right today eventually, looks like they moved the bug around to your side of the world....please keep it there for a bit...

I usually get 2.50 for download and 0.30 for upload.

Started noticing problems here during the day. At night everything is fine, but now suddenly, its slowed to an absolute crawl all around.

The problem seemed to clear up some point last night, after i called it in.

Still severely slow during daytime.

I actually did something yesterday and earlier today I forgot how to do long ago... using my notebook's internal modem to dial up to a service provider. It was FAST compared to what I experience from time to time on VC 3G...

I am also in Nelspruit (Steiltes area). The speed is dead slow. The problem is definitely NOT resolved.

Connecting with 5800XM HSDPA....

This is a DNS issue, again Just configured my adapter on OpenDNS and it's slightly slow, but much better.

After I connect i have around 2 seconds to open google & mybb, if i don't, it receives 0 bytes and i have to disconnect & do it all over again!

This is my new speed results, my problem is gone. It went away after I updated my modem firmware to the Huawei version:



Note: I live in Shandon Estate, about 5km from Steiltes Spar, very close to you. I can see (and, of course, hear) LVCC from here.

during the day, still same crap.

At least at night, when i need it most, it seems back to normal.
