Vodacom, iBurst sign SMS interconnect agreement

isn't there a "gentleman's agreement" that is going to get edgy with this
VC selling SMS service to an IECNS customer at 11c surely must be offered to all and sundry for non-discrimination and if VC is allowing other networks to terminate for free then 11c is a rip off and represents price discrimination.

Of course the problem goes away if networks only charge each other on disparity and are obliged to ring fence such revenue in a special account which must be used to generate business to decrease the disparity (such as reducing off-net calls).
The same could be done with MTR in general but the current accounting aerobics is good to generate a profit off
