What is “Narrowband-IoT (NB-IoT) is a type of Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) radio technology that connects devices to the Internet of Things (IoT)”, I’ve never heard of it before?

Looks really interesting considering they claim 10yr battery life and seems to connect via Lte.
