Vodacom just not responding

At the start of December I had a query re my free minutes. I called 111 and at the end of the call asked for an itemised printout of last 30 days. No problems says VC. A few days later, nothing, so call again and matter gets sorted out. (I do not want itemised billing as it is just another rip off)

At the end of December my bill seems rather high so query it and am told I was charged R 20 for the email itemised billing and about R 5 for MMS. I have not sent any MMS, and was never told I was going to be charged for the itemised billing - I was querying something, now I must pay for that!!! Anyway, am given a reference and told some will respond soon.

After a week or so I call back; apologies etc and maybe I must send a fax !! Talk to supervisor; no will follow up. That was over a week ago.

I have sent an email to the executive office and also no response as of yet.

As far as I am concerned this is plain criminal behaviour on their behalf as well as shocking customer service.

Not sure if anyone from VC will read this and or bother, but just a warning to anyone - beware them

Can you kindly provide your number that you have a problem with , i will then check the account for you.
 
Credit to VodacomData - there has been follow up from him, so at least we seem to be making progress.

Now just to get the matter resolved with those who were supposed to deal with the matter, deal with the matter!
 
Update

I just thought an update:
VD told me to expect a call on Friday. No call on Friday and a PM to VD informing him of such.
Monday still no contact from anyone at Vodacom of any form and a PM sent to VD was simply sent back as is to me :(
I eventually got to speak to someone at the executive office yesterday afternoon who said all the right things and said they will get back to me today.

On Hellopeter the amount of complaints against Vodacom is just amazing. I think they have such a small rating of happy customers and from this experience I can see why.

I guess this is what happens when you have people tied up in 24 month contracts as they know they have you whether you like it or not.

An update.

I have had a call from the executive office and they have passed a refund on the itemised billing. They are still looking into the MMS charges.

VodacomData I do believe has tried hard and I have appreciated his efforts. Overall though I have been horrified by the shocking service levels and the efforts I have had to go to, to get progress on this matter. I am a person who fights for my rights and is strong on customer service and I have to say that this experience has to be one of my all time worst ones.

I still await the final outcome with interest but at least we have made progress.
 
Resolved

Well, I had another call from exec office and I do finally feel that the matter is resolved for which I am thankful. It sure took a lot of effort!!
