Vodacom LTE Complaint

After having an issue with the LTE USB dongle purchased from Vodacom and basically been given the run around by all nothing seems to be able to get these people to do anything about it. I have tried the following.

1. Emailed and spoken to the help desk so many times I cannot even remember.
2 Posted my complaint on Hello Petter https://www.hellopeter.com/user/TecGetSolutions/reviews
3. Posted on the Complaints Board site https://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/mobilities-vodacom-lte-usb-dongle-c852867.html
4. Now I have sent a letter to our local newspaper as the above Complaints Board letter.

All of the above I have also emailed the link to the Vodacom Help desk agent that is supposed to be looking into my complaint and I basically get the same response from them and nothing get done.

So now I am at a loss as to what further I can do about this issue so if anyone here can help that would be great.

How big business can a promote a product like they do and when a customer has an issue they adopt this take it or leave it attitude is shocking. :mad:

Once this is resolved I will be removing my company cell phone away from them ASAP.

They did log a network issue and all I get each time is it is still under investigation. This product was purchased on Friday 24th February, rica on that Sunday. So as of now I have had no service at all from them and it is 3 weeks later.

Respond to my email anyway. Let me have a look. If you dont then I cant try and assist you and this thread would have been created for nothing.
 
Best thing to do in that case would be to log a network issue.

Have you checked your spam folder, the mail is 2MB but normally that should not be an issue

I have. Only mail in there is from someone that wants to give me a inheritence because she dont haven no kids but I have to be a christian.

Just send a mail with only the info I requested in the PM and lets see if that comes through.

You mention you no longer have the modem with you. Do you still have the sim?
 
I have nothing with me as I left it all back at the store, the sims would have had 1GB data that I had also just purchased.

No one has contacted me only when I send a mail back to the help desk then I just get the normal reply we investigating it.

Do you have a LTE capapble phone that is on Vodacom? If so, have you done a speed test on the phone at the same location?

No I only have a pay as you go Vodacom phone but without data at all and it is not LTE capable anyway.

I just did a speedtest on my normal MTN phone and got this

Download 3.7 Mbps
Upload 0.19 Mbps

Eish, that is not great either. Is that on MTN LTE? Do you perhaps have a friend or colluege that can asssit with a LTE speed test on Vodacom at that location? That will help us determine if it is a issue on the tower in general or perhaps restricted to your device/sim
 
No that is not LTE just the normal old phone speed.

Right now I don't have anyone that I know about that has Vodacom LTE, they mostly running with Telkom Mobile.
