Vodacom LTE data throughput issues on

I have this problem for the last month that my data throughput is fine but then it falls below 1Mbps.

The only way to fix it is to reboot my B618s-22d router. This happens about two or three times a day and become very frustrating.


The signal in my area is fine


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had similar issue in mtn on B618, same model 22D

I switched router it fixed problem.

Also try connect 4g only force and not 4g+. in band tool select 1800mhz only. Might help.

So I tested with another router but it was not long before my throughput was below 1Mbps again.

Will test on the 1800mhz band.

BTW, I found an app to view the current band

Looks like setting the band to 1800mhz only solved the issue.

It is actually a very nice app, it is also able to change your LTE band.

Correct, but not to bad considering I live in a rural area.
