I am currently in the region and unable to send MMS. Unable to connect to server 11037 & Message not accepted by message centre, are the error messages I get.

[Vodacom] MMS problem in Cape L'Agulhas / Struisbaai

Just got back from Struisbaai and did manage to send MMS while there.
There was a general MMS problem earlier today, but was resolved around 1pm.
Are you still battling?

Hi V3G, still having the same problem. Same error message. I have not changed any settings, hoping it was a network problem.

There were problems again this morning, for specific numbers. Have you tried rebooting your handset to force a location update? Maybe call the calldesk and let them check your number.

Called helpdesk yesterday, they said something about HLR. Will switch off for a few minutes again. SMS works and data as well.

Tested over all the PID's now and all seems well.

Had the helpdesk send new OTA MMS settings, now I get "real-time authorisation failed" Could send single mms but multiple fails.

You should be on the beach or in a bar, not worrying about sending MMSes!

Well sorry to disappoint all of you ...... just wanted to reach out and touch some people (that could not be here with me).
What the hell is error 11037 & 11049 bla bla "Real-time authorisation failed", just pissed because I went to the trouble of creating a nice MMS ..... nice photo, yakkity yak, photoshopped, da da, and all the rest.
GPRS is is so crappy I can not even update my mobile blog.
Yes, unfortunately still on VC for voice and GPRS as there is very little other network representation in this neck of the woods. Besides father Christmas has given me a TyTn, which might be useless on the VM network.
Mind you I am still pissed as I feel they they treat their customers like crap ...... the technical people like V3G etc. is tops, but when you talk money to them you will be the one that get's SCHNAIED !

Tanning is for wannabee BEE candidates, I stay within 50m of the beach bar.
Had to photoshop out some tennisballs and a banana.

Well I figured out what is wrong. Seems if you have a 30kb MMS you can only fire it off to 10 people at a time. 300kb size limit seems silly and makes the service limited in use.
