So, for two days now my gf is not getting my smss. I can call her just fine and she can call me and I get all her smss but she doesn't get mine.

We both can send and receive to and from other people as well. She is also on VC.

Now, tonight, my mom's phone just stops wanting to make calls. It can still sms. It just says 'congestion' when trying to dial out.

Anyone else notice anything? Another glitch perhaps?

This happens to me all the time. I even went to the extent of buying myself a MTN Sim and using my old phone so I can at least make a phone call when VC is giving me problems.

Earlier on it took me up to 5 attempts just to make a simple phone call. And let me not even start with the call dropping during phone calls.

It's such a pleasure getting home and using Skype ;)

Krikey! That is just not good enough!!

How can my smss just stop going through to ONE specific phone??

Dude, maybe some guy that's interested in her, blocked your number on her phone from receiving SMS's. :D

Maybe it's phone-related. What phone you using? Try doing a firmware upgrade.

If you are on contract, call 111 and tell them to reset your account.

Do it preferably now cos it takes about 30 mins to re-activate.

Grrr. :(

I am using a SE K810i. Have not had this issue with any other phone or SIM card, ever. :(

Get one of those magic sim and you can copy upto 16 numbers on the same sim, switch to different service provider when needed.....

Yeah make sure your number hasn't been inadvertently blocked on her phone from receiving sms's from your number. I know the Samsung has that facility...
