Vodacom Network Time

Just had a look and yep, 3 minutes ahead about...

I thought all of a sudden my clocks at home and my car clock was off, never thought it could be the phone, but indeed it is. Might be the new system on Vodacom not only prevents you from ever upgrading or doing anything related to your account ever again, but also prevents you from having the correct time... hmmf.
 
So it started working but broke again?

NTP server was swapped on the 31st.

Mine seems 100% accuratenow, I'm in the Cape and both Android and IOS seems correct.

Can you please give an indication where you are and what Phone you're using if you still (or again) see the time difference.

We had the problem in Underberg on a P8 lite.

I'm in Durban. Huawei P8. Currently 2 minutes behind
 
Richards Bay, S2 with Android 6.0.1 (CM13). It was out, set it manual for the last week. Switched to auto now and after a minute or so it jumped to 2 minutes behind again.

Now I am accurate again. Route 21 Corporate Park, Irene.

This morning I was 3 min ahead (at around 06:40) when I checked. Garsfontein

Samsung S5 Mini.
 
i'm guess i should be happy that my phone is on strike .. refusing to get network provisioned time. Thankfully, i have ntpdate running the whole time.
 
2 minutes ahead. I'm in Roodepoort at the moment. Same problem in Northern Suburbs.

No problem with Windows 10 Mobile presently in CT.
 
OK, thanks.

The guys actually started a network wide upgrade rollout so it's going out two sites per night for the next week.

I suspect we'll see anomalies till then.

Ockie, will find out how it work and revert.
 
Strange thing just happened. Was doing my afternoon check to see if it was correct, and it was within 0,27 seconds. So I start typing a message to say as such when it is suddenly 0,5 secs out. So I switch time back to manual and the back to auto again (without actually changing the time) and it immediately goes back to 2minutes fast.
