V3G,

Can you use your powers and try to find out when this baby will be released, looks pretty interesting.
 
V3G while you're using your powers, please find out what Vodacom's official stand is on the E70. Everyone is telling me something different. Like it's not going to be released. It's still being tested. They will get back to me (which they never do), etc. If it's not going to be released in the next month I'd like to move on and look at getting a different phone.

Good morning Mr X

It is with regret that I need to inform you that Vodacom has decided not to release the Nokia E70.

This was purely done from a business point of view and does not point to any problems with the handset.

I really battle to get handset info, had to make a few calls today to get the Nokia answers. did fire off an e-mail when you PM'd me but did not really follow up. Will see what I can find out.

I'm not really plugged into the processes that deal with the normal 'voice' side of the business. This is a broadband forum after all. :)

So I'm more geared toward quick answers on the data side of things.

I did publish a weekly list of new handsets, for general info, but stopped that after some forumites used the info in there to become very abusive toward some of the retail staff. :rolleyes:
 
:( failed :eek:........disappointing.........we should see it roundabout when the n95 is released though?

I can not wait for this phone to be released.

I am putting off a current upgrade to wait for this unit.

I just hope MTN offer it to me
