Vodacom is currently in the process of discontinuing its venture into mobile social networking, The Grid. more

That was one of the more ridiculous investments that company ever made. I'm not sure how they thought they could compete in such a market. And did Richard Boorman really just say this:

The Grid was a great learning exercise for us, but other applications like Facebook have ultimately overtaken it
