Vodacom own router

Dear all

I am at a loss, as I can't find an answer anywhere. Vodacom's support team is not responding.
I even wrote to Mr. Kastelic, CTO Vodacom SA.
I have lost my nerve after more than 20 unsuccessful support requests. There is no chance of getting reasonable support on the phone on this issue.
We have a Vodacom fibre connection at our house in KZN.
From the beginning, we used this with a private router behind the NOKIA router, which worked perfectly at first. The access data was provided to us.
Since 29 July 2022, i.e. for over two years, this has no longer worked. Consequently, when we are not at home , we have no access to the IT infrastructure in our house.

My questions:

1. What needs to be done to make this work again?
2. or is it possible to use a private fibre router directly, e.g. https://ch.avm.de/produkte/fritzbox/fritzbox-5590-fiber-xgs-pon/?
