I'm also good friends with Loni. Maybe I'm in on the conspiracy as well?
Have you phoned Julius yet?
I don't think you are part of any conspiracy Jannie.
As the Executive Head of Consumer Data at Vodacom, I'm sure you have come up with many innovations and strategies that than made Vodacom a lot of money over the years. It's your job. Makate came up with one of the greatest 'telecoms' ideas of all time that made Vodacom $Billions, yet he got nothing.
I have no doubt that a man in your position would appreciate the huge value that the PCM idea generated for Vodacom and their parent company Vodafone, who rolled it out in many territories in the last 18 years. Even if they didn't actually charge for the PCM service, it was the catalyst for untold riches for Vodacom, while Makate hasn't received a cent.
Vodacom don't have a conscience about the despicable way they have treated him, but I hope some of their employees do, including you Jannie.
It cannot have escaped your intellect that Vodacom have (by default), admitted that they have a case to answer to Makate, by their latest 'settlement, even if they don't acknowledge to him the huge financial benefits that accrued to them, as a result of his brilliant idea.
Have you any idea where Philip Geissler is these days? It would be great if your friend Loni Pronsloo could track him down wherever he is and get the true Hollywood story from him about exactly what he agreed with Makate, instead of the fabricated version that Alan Knott-Craig wrote in his autobiography Second is Nothing. A shocking liar.
Now that would be a great story for Loni right there......if she can write it impartially, unlike the 'fake-new's piece that she wrote for Bloomberg. (I still believe that Byron Kennedy gave the piece the 'once over' before she 'released' it to the media.)
I haven't phoned Julius yet. I've heard he's coming to the party at the end of January......
Bring on the Vodacom trolls!
