Vodacom Porting

I would like someone who knows about this to answer.

I recently signed up for a 2 for 1 Vodacom contract.

I was then called and confirmed the contract.I did tell them I had two numbers to port.They said I must call 082135 when I recieve my devices.

Today, I did an online chat to follow up and ask how to port.

The lady said I should have ported the first time they called and now its shipped with two new numbers and it can't be ported. Is this true?

Also,they said since its a 2 for 1 deal I can only port one number to 1 sim and the other sim I have to get a new number. Is this true?

@Moka2504 - We respectfully suggest the following method with a reasonable chance of success. As a consumer it is NEVER wise to deal by telephone per si ALWAYS belter in writing.
  • Send a detailed Email to Customercare@vodacom.co.za making sure you receive a Service Reference Number.
  • If Vodacom telephonically responds INSIST ON A WRITTEN RESPONSE.
  • If you are NOT satisfied with their response then draft a properly constructed Email to Ceo@vodacom.co.za with the first word of the subject as the Service Reference.
  • Sit back and wait for a response from the Office of the CEO.
