Vodacom Power Bundles get official launch

Why in the world 60min?

Give me one good reason.....
 
What a load of crap. Insulting the intelligence of South African cellphone users everywhere.
 
I'm sure there will be some people somewhere that will think these are useful bundles to buy and try, at least once and probably not thereafter.

The 60 minute time limit is draconian especially considering that usage is already limited to mostly off-peak times.

This might be useful as a cheap "emergency" data bundle at 3am when one needs to use Uber to get a ride home on airtime fumes.
 
Or...

You could be with Cell C, pay R7.50 and get a 50mb bundle that doesn't expire after an hour.

No thanks Vodacom, your little gimmicks aren't convincing me.
 
Vodacom and their stupid promotions. R3 for 50MB internet with an hour maximum time...absolutely ridiculous!!

R7.50 gives me 50MB for a month, with Cell C.
 
The bundles are only available for use before 6am and after 9pm Vodacom said.

Edit: Wait a second the advert says not available for use from 6PM to 9PM.
 
I used to think that MTN was the king of useless promotions, but Vodacom has really outdone itself this time.
 
as discussed in other threads the product has a market and a use and offers data for very cheap, give credit where it is due

I expected the Cellc fanboi's to slam vodacom. They slammed MTN even when MTN actually beat cellc pricing...

MTN probably hurt sentiment around the company a lot more when they instituted the CTR suit than Vodacom due to the CEOs most idiotic statements in the press and being the first
One of those places where perceptions importance outranks reality ...
 
Actually a 100Mb is about enough for a few hours of Battlefield and I normally play after 10pm anyways. Nowdays my wireless router drops my line so much that I dont even bother much to play. Goona get me a decent NON Telkom router next month but in the interim.......Mmmmm

Edit - Dem , read it again now , its up to 50Mb for an hour and I play at least 4 hours.

Fail !!! Ag man
 
So sick and tired of Vodacom and MTN and their stupid bulls**t promotions! Do us all a favour and just go f**k yourselves!
