I had a problem with my Vodafone Mobile broadband K3570-Z device the last week it just did`nt want to do a connection , So I made the effort to make a turn to Vodacom Data support centre in Canal walk today , well the consultant made a real effort to listen what my problem was and took the time to sort out the problem , I must really say there customer service has been improved from the previous times I had problem with my mobile phone or my data card, What can I say well done Vodacom you are tops,

Can't say that my recent experience with them was good - pretty bad, in fact!

I'm switching to Cell C as soon as my contract expires.

Don't expect more from CellC.

After 13 phone calls (you are number 57 on the line, just hold etc), 2 hellopeters, one other website and a letter to ICASA CellC still refused to end my two 25 month old contracts and I had to stop them at the bank. Have you ever heard "Unfortunately our cancellations department closed down"?

The truth is it is a captive market and they know it!

Yes, I fully expect that Cell C support will be as bad - but I am not planninng to have a cellphone contract again - only prepaid for me!

Disagree.

Edge is quite dead on my iPhone. Only 3G will work.

Their voicemail is inaudable most of the time as well. Thinking about Cell-C .

All networks will not be with out their problems , i suppose what sets us apart would be how soon we can resolve those problems

In my experience you don't.

But you are still better than MTN where there is no contactable customer support at all!

I don't know anymore... I used to be with MTN, and the service was TERRIBLE on top of their high pricing, and reception was limited. CellC lost my support even before it started with that exceptionally irritating woman's voice on every audible branded ad and phonecall. VodaCom has really been the only network this far where the overall reception was good, pricing was reasonable and there have been no hidden costs (touch wood). I've got a TopUp 315, 2GB+2GB Data and prepaid account with them.

I don't know enough about 8ta to comment on it...
