Vodacom Simswap fraud - What do I do?

So are you going to finally agree you'll have a massive problem? Especially with regards to social engineering or are you going to keep beating around the bush?

People committing fraud is a massive problem. Will always be. And every time someone finds a loophole, we fix it. And we take it very seriously.

Would like to see where "I keep beating about the bush"?

I *suspect* this might be the same event discussed before with Dael. But will confirm.

#MandatoryPolygraphsForAllCallCentreAgentsEvery2Months

Is there no audit trail on these systems? I know MTN claimed their staff got around that by stealing other people's authentication details or those caught claiming their details were stolen

Just reading Dael's story makes me realize you don't take this seriously.

Both A) the lack of action on customer queries and B) how easy it is for a Vodacom rep to do whatever he likes to a customer's account with no oversight, no reporting no nothing.

It should not get to the stage of the customer posting on MyBB after a month of battling. You know when a customer gets to that point, it is because he has tried all of the official channels and has had no luck.

For it to reach YOUR office, I'm afraid to say, is embarrassing.

That means that none of the employees below you that are hired to help customers could help this customer. Not one.

Dael can confirm that there were multiple and continuous interactions with him before he posted on myBB.

Did any of them resolve his issues?

EDIT: You know that does not help your case right? It makes it worse.

There were multiple and continuous interactions with him, and not a single employee that he interacted with was able to help him, and so out of frustration, he publicly vented his anger and asked for help. It took intervention from the CEO of the company for his issues to be resolved.

Are you proud of that?

Think you've got a lot of misinformation.
