Afternoon good people

I would like to get opinions before going back to the store where I got my contract from and starting hellfire:

I keep getting SMS's from mailbox (121) like:
"Missed call: 082 xxx xxxx, 12:30 pm..."

Even though my phone is NEVER off - 50% of incoming calls goes directly to voicemail.

What is the reason for this? Network or phone? (Samsung C6625 - not the best)
I'm not paying R1000 per month on contract just to miss half my incoming calls - especially since lots of calls is from private numbers.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Any suggestions appreciated!

Regards

I get it often, also lots of times when I try to phone my wife for example I will go straight through to voice mail even though her phone is on.

Nope only get that when I AM out of signal, maybe the phone ?

Yes well I was thinking of using another phone for a week or so to see if it still happens - its extremely irritating

I don't know why they need to send that SMS at all. Most phones (all?) tell you when you've missed a call. You get these even if no message is left and it spoils any nuisance number blocking programs you have running.

The calls might not be able to connect due to poor signal. Most phones have a signal indicator on the screen, that might give you the answer...
