Morning All,

I know this is for Vodacom Broadband but I figured if I post here it might get a response from a Vodacom rep, does one exist here?

I have just recently received a SMS saying that I have inserted my SIM card into a another phone and yet it has stayed in my phone for the last couple of months. Another person at my work has received this SMS as well. Anyone else getting this? My paranoid self is thinking of SIM cloning... :p

Here's hoping it's just Vodacom doing something on its network...

Scam...? Got it too this morning

Technical error on their side, they there is nothing to worry about and they are working on a fix. MyBB care to grill them as to what went wrong? :D

for an sms sent in error there are more important things for them to fix.

I just got this SMS now. Sender: +278200999852

Just spoke to customer care. They say no sim swap on my card or anything suspicious so yeah...I don't know, I'm a little stumped.

I did send in my phone for repairs a couple of weeks back but I put my sim in a spare phone of mine. This same msg came up then and when I returned my sim to my phone. Maybe a hiccup from that? Dude on the phone seemed very blasé about it.
