Vodacom subtracting data from all bundles

In middle august I bought a data bundle for 2 gigs.first september i topped up with 500megs. Today i requested a detailed statement. on the august one there is 600mb left and on the september one 300.
You'd think that they would allow you to finish the older bundle first, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Does anyone know how they decide which budle to use or is it arbitrary?

IIRC there was a MYBB article about this Vodacom doesn't take data from the one that's expiring soonest - not sure if still the case
 
I hope i'm the exception, and this is some fault in their system. rather than practice. this might be worth investigation.

i have sms proof from vodacom of my 2 data bundles on 2 diffetent days that this does not seem to be the case.

thanks, that sucks though, seems like an unfair practice designed to make you accidentally go oob.
 
Thanks. I regret so much having a contract with them. because of all this hidden **** the customer bull****.
