Vodacom suffers network issues

It's fixed now for me. Was down for about 2 hours
 
Been a problem for quite a while.

Since Saturday I have been having random loss of signal.
 
More than 2 hours here that I am aware of. Besides my Wife not being able to call me, wonder how many pissed of clients I will have tomorrow morning.

Just another day in Africa ... , courtesy of Vodacom, this time round.
 
Saturday got "insert sim card" message on my phone with no signal for half the evening. Eventually came back with a weak 3G signal first.

My Samsung 10E has always shown 4G - now that it is back it is showing LTE ...
 
Honestly 1 or 2 days of downtime in 5+ years is fine in my books.

Try live your life on Telkom mobile and see how that feels. Every day feels like crap.

What happens when you need to make an emergency call? 1 or 2 days is completely unacceptable. Did they give one or two days discount to clients?

I could be wrong about this, I jumped ship 3 years ago so I wouldn't know anymore. At least you got some options there

This really depends on what areas you frequent and your use case I suppose. I've been with Telkom Mobile 2 years now, I'm happy, running dual sim, and it's my Vodacom sim / network that is a pain in my butt...

I can call my old man for free on Telkom, they gave me 6GB of data to use PM for 24 months, for R140 PM... (cyber-monday deal in 2018)
