I got a call from Vodacom offering me an upgrade on one of my numbers. We agreed the package etc and part of it was an additional data package at a reduced rate that is apparently loaded as a VAS. This was not done and all communications from this person working at Vodaworld (which I found out by phoning Vodacom support that can't help me and the Vodaworld no just continuously say they are busy, leave a message) has stopped. She just doesn't reply since the deal was concluded early in Oct. I have the detail confirmed on an email too. Any suggestions on how I can get hold of VC support that can actually assist me as the normal number say they can't it must be the store (which isn't available)

Hi.

I have warned peeps on MyBB a few times over the years...DONT DO THIS KIND OF THING OVER THE PHONE!!

Go into a shop. I won't even do it over a phone. When my sister was due for her upgrade I showed her my monthly Vodacom dealsheet and we selected one. When we got to the shop we told the consultant exactly the dealsheet numer and package she wants.

I am a Vodacom Business Partner and can only assist with business accounts.

Thanks. So we learn...

Oh my apologies, I knew you were a he but didnt know what you identify as. :whistling::whistling:
I am a old school gay man. I believe there are two genders ... and that is that. If you transition, then that is fine, but then identify as your new gender and dont get your panties in a twist if someone gets your pronoun wrong. Anyway....dont want to go off topic.

Lesson to be learnt here people.....DONT DO NEW CONTRACTS OR UPGRADES OVER THE PHONE!

I would say you're proudly gay, which is cool hey. Not many get to that level of comfort in their skin.

Thank you for the explanation Ockie. From now on I will refer to you as a man. :whistling::whistling:

I am what I am. Not ashamed but definately dont expect special treatment either. I have been fortunate though. Have always had bosses and coworkers that are cool about it. My company have three gay employees. Me, someone in our support team and someone else (My boss let it slip and would not tell me who it is lol).

It's only Gen Z and special snowflakes to demand/cry/throw tantrums for attention/special treatment

NCC but they not that helpful

I've done all my upgrades online with Vodacom.. Never had any issues whatsoever..

I’ve always had success getting help via their twitter (X) channel. Used them just last month on my new contract.
@Vodacom111 for support
