Plus the connectivity charge for 3g - at some sick rate only the super rich can afford.

it wont use 3g so will not use 3g costs. its a completely dif way of doing it.

3g you basically "download" the program via streaming video.

the mobile tv that they talk about, that compete with dstv, is a broadcast medium, similar to TV, you dont choose what you watch, you just tune in, same as TV.

Also, no other country have this working yet, so IF, which i doubt, we get it working soon, we may lead the world in SOMETHING at least

Yeah,I also read it that way - there would be no way they could compete against DSTV, with a 30 minute sitcom costing R300.

imagine your kid get hold of your phone, sits and watch a weekend "browsing through the channels" each one R10, end of month you get phone bill bigger than your home loan
