Hi All
Using Nokia E90 with prepaid card and data bundles on Windows Vista desktop.

I have a problem uploading files larger than 1Mb. As soon as the file gets around 10% the upload stops and hangs.

Besides the normal disconnections we are used too, normal browsing and emailing works fine.

But when I try to send a large file either by email, FTP or browser upload I can never send any file larger than 1Mb. Format of file does not matter (videos, images, zip, tar, etc).

This only became apparent from December. Before that it was fine.

Any ideas?
Quentin

No, they just throttle everything. :)

Just kidding, I haven't experienced anything like that, but VCData is the best man to help put your mind at ease.

Hi Vodacom will never throttle any data uploaded or donwloaded. I would suggest that you test another device to work via a process of elimination to detect the problem.

Is it always with the same site that you're having the problems?

I often have to update a software suite that I use here it's around 68MB and often the download stalls at 60MB, I use Firefox and just pausing the download, waiting 20 or 30 seconds and then release the pause everything is fine and the download ends OK!

Often problems like this are way outside of our shores!
