This is a very arrogant move from Vodacom who make a massive profit every minute. It will mainly affect the very poorest in the land

What is the legal position of these 3.5 million? Surely they have a valid contracted air-time window to be still allowed on the network?

This whole thing smacks of sliminess and greed. Surely their social responsibility conscience could allow these people to stay connected if they have valid air-time windows?
