Upgrade any of your vodacom contracts during the month of May and vodacom will pay your full subscription for the month of June!!!:D
 
I'm up for upgrade but its just too damn expensive! I'm going RBM...don't want to leave Vodacom but this "get 1 month free" subs is daft...
 
Old phone now. Got the Desire HD on R220 PM with R1,700 pay in. You should have waited for the GS2.

And GS1 compared to HTC DHD

At the time I upgraded my HTC HD2 to a Desire HD the salesman tried to push the GS1 onto me. I spent lots of time reviewing phones and the DHD trumphs the GS1 so I took it. The only thing the GS1 had over the DHD was the AMOLED screen but I was willing to give that up to gain 0.3" on the size and more on everything else.
AMOLED also has extremely high battery drain on white. I myself spend a lot of time browsing forums on my cell and most pages are white background, so that would have sucked my battery down.

I will probably trade in my DHD for the GS2 when it arrives. Then again, HTC have new devices now that rival the GS2 so will see. I love this constant tech war :)

Well the only choices I had on that contract were Nokia n8 or GS1

Pity dude. You still got a good device though :)
Hop on over to XDA and get an upgraded custom Gingerbread ROM. Lots of activity at XDA for this device which will make using it a lot more fun.
