Vodacom VMC FAIL again

Why oh why does it have to tell you when it doesn't find any updates?

Yesterday, Im busy gaming in HoN (DotA-like game) which is very fast paced where things can happen in mere seconds, and then VMC pops up to tell me it didn't find any updates...

Today, while gaming again, IT DOES IT AGAIN! I keep getting killed when this happens

Why does it tell me that there are NO NEW UPDATES? why would I want to know that?

I close that rubbish, and use an ordinary dial-up connection.
The connection details are:
Custom modem.
Phone Number = *99***1#

That's all it really needs.

Select Never

No more annoying Pop-up.

Dump VMC and use Huawei's Mobile Connect software. You'll never look back. VMC is buggy and unreliable.

That's a Huawei E160 that rebranded and you can get the MC software for it.
