Its still down for me too on my tablet and work pc.
Both on internet provided by Vodacom.
I just hope someone at Vodacom notices soon. If you call them on their helping they say there is no problem.
The guy in the call centre said the website works when he tries it so there is no problem:wtf:
I insisted they escalate the problem. Still waiting for the confirmation sms...
I cant believe the site is still down on Monday 12 March, where is Vodacom's response to this? Vodacom, I have a few megs of data left, if you don't get the site going I am going to have to go with MTN as I now cannot access the vodacom site to make a data bundle purchase! Worrying to think that no-one has sorted this out yet! A week now....

I have Cell C and a Vodacom sim cards in USB modems and both work, except that the Vodacom sim can't open www.vodacom.co.za - Cell C can open the site - been like this for a couple of days now.....
Apart from this deur-die-kark symptom, SMS's from Vodacom have been taking hours to come through and many Vodacom calls have been dropped or without being able to hear the other person
VC is finally falling apart it seems and they don't even realise it..... PATHETIC, I'm very happy my data contract with them is coming up for renewal next month - it will be cancelled!
Im getting smses from vodacom saying that they are attending to my query from customer care Kevin van Tonder.
I doubt that they will fix it as it seems like only a hand full of people are experiencing it.
Will have to get a prepaid MTN or Cell C card to use everytime I access the vodacom site.
