Im unable to redeem any prizes from the website cause the ref numbers they send me when I recharge is not valid. All ive been able to get is R2 and R5 airtime. Ive accumalted over 500 talking points and that equates to a lot of airtime. The mobi site only gives info so you are unable to redeem prizes there and the website does not accept the voucher numbers so all you are left with is the sms option which only sends R2 and R5 airtime. That is not how they are promoting this in the media. Has anyone been able to spin the wheel and win anything besides airtime?

Thank you for your e-mail communication to Vodacom.

Please be advised that you may win one of the following prizes:

Weekly CASH prize of R150,000 for 12 weeks
A 12-month LiveTrack Personal Tracking subscription (LiveTrack device included)
Vodacom Airtime (various denominations)
Night Shift subscriptions
Samsung cellphones
HP Laptops
Pick n Pay gift cards each to the value of R1000.00
Mango Flight vouchers
Bafana Bafana supporter’s jerseys
Vodacom SMS Bundles
Vodacom MMS Bundles
Vodacom Data Bundles

When you have won any amount of airtime then the voucher that was recharged with may not be redeemed again. Our records show that there is airtime you have won with the vouchers therefore may not redeem for winning using the same voucher.

I have tested the www.vcwin.mobi site using a cell phone and I was able to log on.

Talking points is a Vodacom loyalty rewards programme which you may redeem by dialling *111# or calling 082111 (free from a Vodacom sim).

I recharged yesterday and this morning without redeeming the vouchers via sms. how can the vouchers not be valid???

Sounds like you can win only once on every voucher recharge, and you've already done so and redeemed it. But their system was dumb enough to allocate more prizes to you on the same voucher number, and so now when you try to redeem it, it fails, coz they have a check for it on this side of the system. They should have checks on both ends!

Sounds like Vodacom didn't test their systems properly before launching, AGAIN!
