The wording almost sounds like it's CWU that's imposing the disciplinary hearings, but I have to ask - how would Vodacom be able to cancel a CWU member's CWU membership? - surely that's just an illogical nonsense allegation from CWU? and what exactly is a dual deduction...?He said CWU members were "ill-treated" through disciplinary hearings, dual deductions and cancellation of union membership.
Methinks here be the real reason for the malcontentedness of the CWU...He said Vodacom management had made it a point that unions and workers were not given an opportunity to participate on the planned BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) deals.
