Vodacom -Worst Network Providers!!

I live in Morningside, 5min away from Sandton city, you'd think Vodacom would have better reception in such a central place?! No! It's been over a year since I complained about their lack of network in the area! 80% of my calls go straight to voicemail and when I do get a call, I have to run to the one corner of the house that has reception! Every time I call Vodacom customer care, they say there is a new site planned for the area, it's been over a year! Honestly! I use my contract for work and I can't receive calls! My emails and sms's are delayed, on top of all that I somehow was subscribed to some content service that I didn't agree to! I'm paying over 1k a month for what?!

I've asked to cancel for a month now, and they've been calling my husband's phone because they can't get through to mine! That's how bad it is! I'm still waiting for them to send me the details but I REFUSE to pay for cancellation! This is their issue! Network problems from when I signed this contract! I've been with Vodacom forever and this is the worst service I've experience these past 2 years!

i think mybb should really make a 5 post count before you post anywhere , you not really bringing any value.


Besides my brother stays in morning side, you guys do realize that you would have the worst signal because of how morning side is situated/developed/built, in a ditch.How do you get signal to an area where there is no space.

How you can say it is a spam? It sounds like distraction from a problem raised by OP. Lets wait and see how Vodacom rep handle this case.

Nah am not being hard am telling you the truth the rich people in morning side(including my bro) has complained to the different NW`s.

You cant do anything in an area where there is zero place to build a tower.

If you do decide to build the tower its going to be in someone`s way.

Its going to be an i sore to the one that has it in his backyard.

you going to find a small minority objecting because the microwaves are going to their brains.

how do you win ??

If you are going to build a tower on top of the hill the guys down below wont receive signal

Really? Well I am in Morningside and I get excellent signal with Cell C - the so-called "poor" network...

Maybe Vodacom should go chat to Cell C on how to improve their signal quality in Morningside....rather than worrying about the reduction in MTR....
