For the last 2 months or so I keep on getting sms's with the words "Your new vodacom4me password, wich will become active in an hour"....

I sometimes get up to 30 a day. Today so far I had 12 of them. It's either an error in the Vodacom4me system, or some-one is pulling my leg. But it's MASSIVELY irritating.

The number it's from is +27820099972. Doesn't look like a private cellphone number, but maybe a Bulk SMS Service Provider?

Couldn't get info on http://www.smscode.co.za/ .

Any idea?
Thanks!!!

PS: I have a Nokia comunicator, can pull the last 3 month's log files with dates and so on if needed.

Network specific numbers will not be listed with smscode. Guess somebody is trying to access the vodcom4me with your MSISDN. You would need to phone Vodacom call center to help you out.

Surely someone is not trying to access Vodacom4me with my number 20-30 times a day, every day for 2 months long?!? They must have given up by this time.

It's almost as if the system got stuck.

I got it as well, not sure if it was because of my dual sim.

You need to phone the helpdesk, log a call and they'll sort it out for you.
