Vodacomdata stuff-up again OCKIE please help

I have phoned vodacom and was told that everything is correct on the system. I have no monthly bundle on the system. and i am on topup. Last month they added 2 gig. I contact the call centre and was told that there is nothing on the system. i reported this and was told that it was my luck. also talked to Ockie and he helped me and also confired that the system is correct and there is no monthly data bundle.
This morning they loaded 2,16 gig for free again. Now i do not mind the fact that i am getting free internet but i know at some stage vodacom will see that they stuffed up and then want money from me. So please i can only hope that Ockie will again try and help me sort this out.
 
Generally if it was their stuff up they won't bill you for it.

I remember when 3G first came out way back when that some customers weren't being billed for their data usage, Vodacom never charged them for it.

Some users did over 300GB with that... :whistle:
 
This is very strange. When I check on your active services, you have MyMeg 0 provisioned

There is no monthly data bundle on proposed invoice either...yet when I check on your bundles this is what I see this:

2.16GB 12.54MB 2.15GB 2013-04-30


We dont have a 2.16gig bundle. I wonder if this is not maybe a NPPS voucher (where you tell a Vodacom Shop what size bundle you want and we load it directly for you from our till). Someone might be recharging your account by mistake.

I will ask VD if he can trace it. My system is a bit limited when it comes to seeing all the juicy details.

Irritated because my bill is R300 higher than usual - and I have no idea why. I had a call-limit of R100 set up - but never got any messages. Data bundles not used up yet. And of course VC can send through a debit order on the 1st of the month, but I can't access my invoice on the 1st of the month!

This grinds me as well, debit order goes off before the invoice is issued.

You get invoiced on the 3rd ... recieve bill during the course of the month (e-billing or snail mail) and then the debit order goes off end of that month or first few days of next month depending how your debit order is set up.

My debit order goes off on the 7th and I generally only receive my invoices via email around the 10th

You are misunderstanding my post. If your debit order goes off on the 7th, then it will be for the invoice dated the 3rd of the previous month.

Hi , this is most likely a profile problem , i have escalated it to our Billing Department.
 
You are misunderstanding my post. If your debit order goes off on the 7th, then it will be for the invoice dated the 3rd of the previous month.

I understood what you meant, but my account get's debited on the 7th with the amount that was invoiced on the 3rd of that month.

February's statement I actually received on the 7th which is the earliest I've received it in a couple of months.

What kind of contract are you on? Top Up?
 
Got 4 contracts on there, 1x Smart Standard, 1x Business Call, 1x Top Up 135+BIS and 1x 2GB Top Up data bundle.

Here is a example....I am not sure why yours is different. Could be that there is not much usage going through and therefore the amounts looks very similar...if not totally similar.

January invoice amount: R1,137.86 deducted on 7 Jan, received invoice on 10 Jan
December invoice amount: R2,559.64 deducted on 7 Dec, received invoice on 12 Dec

It's not really an issue, just grinds me that an email invoice takes a week to be sent out.
