Hello all..

Lets start this out:
Last week Saturday I got my upgrade to a Nokia N81.
But, it was only given to me on my birthday, 14 May.

I used the phone, and then this passed weekend, I decided to
put some music on my phone. I put everything on and out of 200
hundred songs, 15 showed up in music player. (Note: all songs same format),
when I decided to play the songs, they played - all was well - but I couldn't
change the volume, change songs or stop it and the phone was only picking up a portion
of the songs..

Then the phone started going funny, sticking and MXiT and other applictions,
causing problems.

So I decided I received a faulty phone, and went to the Vodashop today,
where I got my upgrade.

The lady said that since the phone has passed the 7 days - where if something is wrong with the phone they would give you a new one or something.. I would have to get it repaired..

But, I've had the phone for 10 days, but only used it 6 days - even though this doesn't matter. But now I have to wait 15-18 working days, so +- 3 weeks, for a phone which I received faulty. So now I'm without a phone :(

What do you guys think I should do?

Get an ipod for your music and take mxit off your phone ? Its after 7 days they will send the phone in for repairs.

Another guy bites the dust.

Nokia Symbian is slow, load it with data and it gets sloooower... even if its saved on a memory card. Whats the ram on your N81? Not to much.

I wouldnt blame it on the SW to be honest, its your fault.
Put 200 songs on a N82 I bet the same thing will happen.

Yeah well 200 songs - 80kb/s :) 500 megs roughly. not alot?

Oh well.. The lady didn't even switch on the phone. Just took it in, and said they will call in 3 weeks time and signed a few papers ..
