As ambo indicated you can do one of 2 things:
1) Simplest - go to the settings of your Outlook client and change the SMTP server setting to smtp.vodacom.co.za. Now you will be able to send mail when on the Vodacom network. However, if you connect on another network, you'll have to change the settings back to that network's settings.
2) Ask MWEB for their Authenticated SMTP server details (they do have one). Using this will allow you to send mail while on any network.
Not from inside of Vodacom's network.Does Vodacom's smtp server not require authentication?![]()

Just ran a test to see if smtp.vodacom.co.za is accessible using an ADSL ISP account, and my test message was sent [& received] - but not by smtp.vodacom.co.za - it appears as though there must be a CNAME setup somewhere...And you can't see it from the outside (I hope!).
