Hi guys,

I'm planning on using this modem with Telkom 3G. I want to get hold of the correct Huawei software to use with it though. Which Huawei model number does it correspond to? I've narrowed it down to one of the following: E169, E172 or the E176.

Anyone know?

Thanks.

PS. I've tested Telkom 3G so far with a Huawei E620 datacard and my Sony Ericsson K800i cellphone. Works very well with both. I'm getting generally a 5 bar reception in bedfordview. Downloaded iTunes this morning at a solid 180 k/s on the E620. So far, I'm impressed.

Hi Sarge,

I believe the alternative model number for the K3520 is E169 judging from what I read on the Internet.

I am currently using a vodafone K3520 to connect to Telkom 3G however I connecting from an ubuntu box using wvdial software.

Rob
