Vodafone K3772-Z not saving settings in Linux Mint 12

Hi guys. Any of you have a idea why it might be doing this? Everytime I plug the modem in I have to redo the auto setup (select provider etc). Not a train smash as it is very quick to do....but it also seems that this modem stalls a little after a while. Any of you have this problem? Provider is Vodacom 20 gig special in case it makes a difference.

My old Cell C modem (Huawei E1752) does not have this problem.

I have had some issues with the wireless stack on Mint 12 on the wife's PC. I see they rolled out an update over the week-end so make sure your PC is up to date.

Other than that your best bet would be Mint forums.

Tnx meneer. Not gonna stress about it. The modem seems to work OK. Setting it up everytime takes like 3 seconds so really no biggy. Was just wondering if any of you might have had the same thing and found a fix.

To be honest...I am too lazy to go scratch for a answer for such a small problem. *blush*
