Maybe you should say - "Yes, I was browsing......." I am sure Vodacom will soon close that loophole again. Damn!!

And please V3g, be careful not to mention tracking users who have been using this loophole and get the whole conspiracy theory about user tracking fired up again!!

I had a call from Vodacom this morning re my P990

I can take it to a Vodashop and have it flashed to a Generic P990 (as you all have)
According to them I will still have access to VLive so I am looking forward to a happy life with my P990

What setup is needed on Vodacom to make a video call

Mine works to 1 of my friends

Tried 2 others and it doesnt work, anyone know what needs to be enabled, phone and/or Network

Does it work if you call a pre-paid number

My browsing on the vlive homepage isnt free.i am being charged.i didnt download any content yet or purchase anything.first i had a problem when i couldnt connect to the internet apn or vlive apn and i had to go back to vodashop.thanks vodacom3g can anyone help me ? On 4me the content is free, you pay for the data.

On VLive you pay for the content, so the data is free (browsing the VLive portal is just data coming down).

Or are you saying you can browse the internet (i.e. non-vlive) for free using the vlive profile?

Still no comparison, R1,50 to see a web cam pic is the same as almost a full 1Gb paying for data on GPRS - I am not saying do not charge, I am saying make it a comparable

Im paying four times cheaper with virgin mobile gprs than vodacom.Vodacom can get stuff.Dont think they will be getting ppdb for before early or middle next year.Do yourself a favour and get a virgin sim card at checkers for R49,99 and get R50 airtime.

1. Welcome to Virgin internet, where the connection is pretty much as stable as a bowl of jelly. You also get this if the connection is very slow [also a common feature] .

........ Virgin isn't as reliable as one would hope [both in terms of speed and keeping the connection alive]

No vodacom3g browsing and downloading is different.why the heck you think vodacom charges its customers R2 a mb ? Just to see content such as music,games,etc we are charged for it ! I am using a v360v with vodafone live.who said vlive apn is free ? I pay for the download (game file),pay for connecting,and pay for the viewing the site/page,and pay for the data which i download !
