Vodafone Mobile Connect SIM Error MSG

Hey all,

I've been getting this error message lately as well:

There was a problem with the SIM. Try:
- Re-entering your PIN code
- Ejecting and re-inserting your datacard
- Restarting your computer.


It doesn't affect my connection to the net in any way.
Is this error hardware related?
 
I got that error often till i updated my firmware (novatel card), drivers and dashboard to ver 5 i am now on dash ver 6 and its still stable dunno if u tried that.

I have received the same error before and as you say, it does not actually affect anything, i.e. you can keep on working.

Have not seen it lately, so Gunny might be correct in suggesting a firmware / software refresh.
